Making new maps

I have always had a bit of a fascination with maps and many years ago I was given a prophetic word that I would be a 'mapmaker.' At the back of many Bibles are several maps of the world of that time including maps of Paul's missionary journeys. Paul literally made new maps for the spread of the Good News of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God. It's time to make some new maps in our lands today!
In Isaiah 43:19 God says, "I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." I believe He is doing that right now and He is calling us to partner with Him. He is changing the spiritual landscape and redrawing the maps placing rivers where they were not before. He is making new ways, unfamiliar paths for those willing to travel along them while simply trusting Him. It is time for a people, filled with the Holy Spirit and power, to make some new maps of missional activity throughout our nations.
Adventure awaits!

Amen! It’s exciting praying with people we meet and sharing the gospel in a local village, people are ready to hear good news. Faith comes from hearing the word of God.
